Wegen Picks
The Dutch pickmaker Michel Wegen has an excellent reputation for making high quality hand made plectrums. No one else knows the composite material he uses to craft his outstanding picks.
The majority of his picks are very fat, though he does offer thinner plectrums for styles which require flatpicks. They're virtually all indestructible in regards to guitar playing ? you could naturally apply a hammer, but that'd be cheating and a playing style including a pick, a guitar and a hammer hasn't been invented yet.
Apart from crafting picks and being a guitar fanatic, Michel Wegen is a
successful model maker. Good thing he is, too, because his knowledge on building
things from all sorts of materials has allowed him to make his wonderful
picks.
