Mark Morse and his company Rock City Music simply don't make slides from a
piece of pipe. These things are well thought out.
Somebody put a good measure of thought into these brass slides. A 45
degree cutaway lets them sit comfily on your finger,
the sides are flattened so it won't get into the way of your
other fingers and on top of all that the weight is balanced out to be lower near
the base and heavier near the top where your fingertip peeks out. Not only that,
but the slide is shaped like a finger ? the closer to the top,
the narrower it gets.
All that makes it fit and sit snugly on your finger.
