Pickboy

Pickboy can probably be labelled as the typical incarnation of a japanese company; it's innovative, doesn't shy away from using the most modern of materials and the quality is more than just merely good.

Tokyo isn't the sort of metropolis where one would expect to find a pickmaker. Perhaps it's the throbbing vein of technology pervasive in Tokyo which influenced Pickboy to make futuristic plectrums out of modern day compounds, setting the company apart from it's more conservative counterparts.

Peter has been acquainted with the venerable Shoji Nakano for over 30 years. He goes to work each day in his company, despite his old age. His children Tomomi and Saddaki Nakano have taken the lead nowadays, paying head to the old traditions, whilst at the same time openly accepting new influences.

We must admit that the brand's name does sound a bit naive to our ears, but we're not peddling a name here, but rather plectrums of the highest quality.

Pickboy also offers slides and capos which are quite decent and affordable.
