Moshay ? Picks with Holes Handmade picks are quite rare and we're genuinely happy when someone is successful.... Moshay makes the only patented picks which feature a hole for better grip. The ?huge? sound is very special in the way it lets strike and string sound flow into each other. Pick noise is hardly audible. All Moshay picks are hand made, fat (yet flexible) and quite rugged. They won't break, splitter, nor wear down quickly. Tone: The picks are made out of a special nylon which gives them a nice, big tone which is well accentuated. Also feature the snappy plop sound when the pick bends back into shape (but not too loud). Hardly any pick noise, full sound between strike and Shapes and Gauges: Moshay picks are available in three gauges and two sizes, namely medium (.87mm), heavy (1.1mm) and extra heavy (1.32mm). The extra heavy picks are black, whereas the other two gauges are white. The small Moshay has the typical jazz-size, whereas the large ones are comparable to the normal size. They're shape is something of a cross between a teardrop and standard pick. The Moshay's however feature a round end. The end can be used to get an ultra-warm, fat and loud tone. Prices: Hand made picks don't have to be expensive.
