Ladies & gentleman, we are proud to present Jodi Head, the Queen of Straps!
Jodi started out in the fashion industry. Nowadays, she designs guitar straps. The straps are handmade in New Yorks East Village and are available in limited quantities only. Jodi Head also offers custom straps, but you naturally have to pay extra.
Apart from making straps for stars like Elvis Costello, Courtney Love, Kid Rock, David Bowie and Jack Black, she also has a nice collection which is more affordable. The straps still aren't cheap, after all they're not glued together in a sweatshop somewhere in Asia. They're designed, cut and sewn together in the U.S. of A. instead, which has its price.
These straps really are a nice sight for sore eyes. They're well crafted, handmade and the designs are great. What's more, they're very comfortable and they'll last more than just a lifetime. The leather is definitely high quality, it's wonderfully soft.
And last but not least ? Jodi Head and her crew invest a lot of time in doing
things right. The straps may be hand-sewn and not 100% exact, but just have a
look at the beaded straps. Lots of time consuming, twiddly work involved.
Nonetheless, the result is fantastic!

Jemand der so in seiner Stadt verwurzelt ist wie Jodi in New York muss ganz einfach eine solche Serie machen. Handvernäht. Rutschsicher. Endstücke wie immer aus echtem Leder. Breite 2.25 Zoll, also 5,75 cm. Die Länge ist von circa 105 cm bis über 134 cm stufenlos einstellbar. Nonetheless, they look good and groovy and transmit some sort of notion of urban
primitivsm, which seems to be popular.

Jodi Head Western Shoppe
Im Wilden Westen wurden besonders edle Gürtel, Sättel und andere Lederwaren regelrecht geschnitzt. Und dann in einem "Shoppe" verkauft. Daher auch der Name der Serie. Diese Kunst der Lederbearbeitung ist fast ausgestorben und/oder mittlerweile unbezahlbar. Die Jodi Head Design Sudios haben es jedoch irgendwie geschafft, das Leder so echt zu prägen, dass es tatsächlich wie geschnitztes Leder aussieht. Details...  ab: 90,93 € |

Jodi Head Vintage-Series What was good about those old vintage straps? They weren't good back then,
and they're even worse nowadays.
