Heriba Nylon Picks

Some sounds can only be made with the original Heriba Nylon picks. The nylon Heriba uses makes the picks a bit more flexible, therefore making them sound special. As with all Heriba plectrums, a textured surface ensures that the picks rest firmly between the fingers, even when sweating.

Great for giving high gauge strings that ?wet? sound, especially baritone guitars.

Shapes:

Heriba's Nylon Picks are available in the standard shape, as rounded triangles or in the long mandolin-style. The latter shape can be cut to fit the guitarist's needs.

Gauges:

Three gauges: thin, medium and heavy. The Heriba Moulded Picks are recommended if a thicker plectrum is desired.

Sound:

The definite nylon pick. The famous, warm sound typical for Heriba. Make that great, warm snappy ?plop? sound when the bend themselves back into shape after striking ? wonderful. The basses follow the highs. The short lag gives them a well-defined, full-bodied tone. Vintage guitar players use these picks in combination with a reverbed Fender Twin to get the famous underwater sound.

Suitability:

You'll become addicted to nylon as soon as you've gotten used to it. The sound on striking is much more coloured and warm, it seems as if the tone comes to life. The lower the tuning, the better. Ideal for bass and baritone guitars.
