Butterfly Picks
Kirk Freeman, the mastermind behind Butterfly Picks, had a really cool idea ? namely to make ergonomically shaped plastic plectrums which change their shape and attack if you apply pressure. You can accentuate and change your sound just by gripping them harder.
These three dimensional picks with their patented shape are injection moulded out of a delrin-nylon compound. Thanks to the way the Butterfly Picks are shaped they retain their position between your finger and thumb and the pick is properly aligned against the strings. Any guitarist will have a hard time losing these picks on stage, except if he tries to on purpose.
Freeman also considered working in the ribs, bumps and dents typical for oldtime tortoise plecs into his picks. Either that, or the mouldmaker was stark raving drunk.
Butterfly Flex Picks Ergonomically shaped picks. Because the world's not flat either, is it?
They're probably not everyone's cup of tea. You have to get used to them, and some might simply just not like them. Buttefly Flex nonetheless are a great alternative for people who want to try out something new. Details... ab: 4,90 € |
